Wow a bucket list moment!
I’ve always wanted to run London and what better way to do it than raising money for a charity that we have a personal connection with and that helps support families for those with Parkinson’s.
Since my Grandad is exempt from marathons (although I’m sure he’d give it a good go) it’s my turn to pay him back. I’m sure he’ll have a good laugh at me training through winter.
Whilst I’m sure there will be plenty of moaning, excess amounts of trainers and stupidity that I’ll no doubt be trying to train for London and Hyrox the most important part is support those in need and their families!
Any support large or small would mean the world!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the 2027 TCS London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK on Saturday 24 April and would really appreciate your support!
We’re Parkinson’s UK. The charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need.
We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We believe that together we’ll find a cure. But that’s not all we’re working for. We campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.
Families, volunteers, campaigners, fundraisers, scientists, health and care workers. We’re a powerful community united by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.
Go go go Mitch! You’ve got this!!
