Why I'm fundraising for Parkinson's UK
This May, I’m taking on the Parkinson’s UK 100 Mile Challenge to raise money for an incredible cause that is very close to my heart.
My grandad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2021, and this year with Parkinson’s Disease Dementia. Spending time with him, I see firsthand the daily challenges he faces and how much this condition affects not just him, but our whole family. I’ve watched my grandma show unwavering strength and dedication as his carer, supporting him every single day. Their resilience inspires me more than I can put into words.
Taking part in this challenge feels like a meaningful way to give something back. I want to help raise awareness, fund vital support for families like mine, and contribute towards ongoing research in the hope of one day finding a cure.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Thank you so much for your support—it truly means the world 💙
