Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! As you probably know I run a lot, I am very lucky to be fit and well and running makes me feel happy and alive.
I don't often do events for charity but this is something very close to my heart. I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 8 September 2024 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK. My mum has had Parkinson's for the last 17 years and she has been helped by various drug treatments developed with help from charity's like Parkinson's UK.
Please help by sponsoring me whatever you can. All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition.

First Sponsorship for Anthony Rose
Friday 16th Aug I have made a donation to this page which I should have made to Anthony Rose who successfully completed the Centurion Winter Downs 200 last December with Parkinson's. Completing 200 miles in the wettest, muddiest conditions must have taken a superhuman effort especially as Anthony has Parkinson's.
