Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 7 September 2025 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
I am not sure why I am torturing myself again, other than I want some more free ice lollies and jelly babies as I crawl around the streets of the north east.
Mainly though it’s because Parkinson’s is a cruel disease and Parkinson’s UK is a fantastic charity the disease has had a massive impact on my fiancée and her families lives so It seemed a good choice.
Plus i do need a bit of motivation to lose the belly and get a tad fitter and something like this should hopefully get me back on track!
