Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
❤️ Help us raise money for Parkinson’s UK ❤️
On Sunday the 14th of March, my brother and I will be taking on the Bath Half Marathon to raise money for a charity that has become incredibly close to our hearts.
Late last year, our amazing dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Since then, we’ve seen first-hand the challenges that Parkinson’s can bring, not only for the person living with it but for the whole family.
So, rather than just watching from the sidelines, we’ve decided to put ourselves through 13.1 miles and hopefully turn all those training runs, tired legs and blisters into something positive. 🏃♂️🏃♂️
We’re running to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, helping support people affected by Parkinson’s and funding vital research towards better treatments and, one day, a cure.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean so much to both of us and to our family. Every donation will help us get closer to our goal and make those 13.1 miles feel a little more worthwhile!
Thank you so much for supporting us — it genuinely means the world. ❤️
For Dad. 💙
