Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

In 2027 I’ll be running the Bath Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s UK.
Parkinson’s has become a cause very close to my heart since my nonna was diagnosed with the condition. Before her diagnosis, I didn’t know much about Parkinson’s or the challenges people living with it face every day. Seeing its impact firsthand has made me realise how important the work of Parkinson’s UK is, from supporting those affected to funding research for better treatments and one day a cure.
By taking on this half marathon, I hope to raise both awareness and funds for this incredible cause.
