Edinburgh Half Marathon
Tuesday 10th MarIn May I will be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.
I’m doing this in support of my Grandpa, who has Parkinson’s. Seeing how this disease has affected him over the past few years has really shown me how important the work of Parkinson’s UK is. Taking on this challenge feels like a small way I can support him just has he has always supported us!
Parkinson’s UK does incredible work providing support services for people living with the condition to help make everyday life a little easier. They also fund vital research to improve treatments and work towards hopefully finding a cure one day.
I’m not a runner by any means, so this will definitely be a challenge for me. But it feels like a small thing to do compared to what so many people living with Parkinson’s face every day.
