My updates

Day 41

Thursday 10th Apr
I've hit my 50 days target with 9 days to spare!  Well pleased.  I shall continue walking/running to the 50th day.  Then I'll start my next challenge!

For my 50th day I managed a mile run/walk to see my friend, and then had a lovely (extra) walk round The Hoo.

Day 38

Monday 7th Apr
Well pleased with my progress.  Actually did first run yesterday.  Starting slow with Week 1 of the NHS C25K training program.

Walked today though and decided to avoid the obstacles in the field!

Day 27 Lakeside Walk

Friday 28th Mar
Lovely walk round the lake at Ashburnham Place.  Beats walking round the block any day!

Day 25 - Out with the Outlaws

Tuesday 25th Mar
Long walk today.  Great to have the great company of fellow Outlaws.  Lots of laughs and lots of nice views and buildings to look at on our outing.

Day 22 Titantic walk

Saturday 22nd Mar
Another long walk. Not up to running just yet, and had the Grandkids with me today.  We were looking for the Titanic in the Harbour!  Walked home by myself after, so that added to the mileage.  Actually did more miles than the app recorded, but I didn't remember to turn it on until we had walked quite a way!

Day 21 Walking Folk

Friday 21st Mar
Long walk up and over the downs.  Sun shining,  great company of my fellow Outlaw.

Day 14 - Fourteen days/Two weeks/Fortnight

Friday 14th Mar
Can't believe I've managed fourteen days of the Challenge.  Still not running at the moment,  but I am off my couch and moving - no more the Couch Potato I was two week ago.

Day 13 Early Riser

Thursday 13th Mar
Out early this morning - well early for me at 8.30am!
Cold day,  needed my hat, coat and gloves for a quite march round the block to get my mile in.

Day 8 M&M

Saturday 8th Mar
Onto the second week now!  First week has gone quite quick and I've been lucky with the nice weather. It was another sunny day today and did my mile with the company of Mr P.

Day 5 - Blooming

Wednesday 5th Mar
Flowery Walk with Mr P

Day 4 - Seafront Stroll

Tuesday 4th Mar
A nice long walk in the sun along the Seafront with the Outlaws, warm enough so as not to need a jacket.

Day 3 - Daffs are out

Monday 3rd Mar
Sunny and bright again today.  Daffodils have come out.

Day 2 - These Boots were made for Walking

Sunday 2nd Mar
Broke the walk in two today - as walked to cafe - for a Mocha and a slice of toasted fruit bread at me and my hubby's favourite cafe - and back!

Day 1 - Here comes the Sun

Saturday 1st Mar
Day 1 of the 50/50 Challenge.  A great start with sun shining and lovely blue skies and fluffy clouds.

Counting Down

Wednesday 26th Feb
I'm mapping out a few different routes for my 50/50 Challenge.  I am aiming to do a mile a day.  I will probably be walking/running round the same routes, and so to try and liven things up I am making a list of various things to spot each day. I also need to find some interesting 15 - 20 minute podcasts to help the time/miles go quicker.

Hoping

Thursday 20th Feb
Will need to delay starting this 50/50 Challenge until after 11 March am waiting to be signed off my the Optician after having cataract surgery, and can't do any vigorous exercise until then.

If I'm able I might try and do a gentle mile a day walk - to get myself ready for the first two weeks.
