Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I'm taking part in Pedal Causeway Coast for Parkinson’s UK this June and would appreciate your support!

My Mum, who is now 91, developed Parkinson's just over 8 years ago. Her sister also suffered from Parkinson's late in life. I enjoy sport and have participated in a number of cycling events in the past. Whilst looking for a new challenge in 2026, I discovered Pedal Causeway for Parkinson's, which is just on my doorstep in an area where I grew up! It is a great opportunity to create greater awareness of the disease and raise money for Parkinson's UK at the same time.
