Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Parkinson’s is a complex brain condition that has no cure and gets worse over time. It has more than 40 symptoms, from tremor and pain to anxiety. And Parkinson's is on the rise. Someone is diagnosed every 20 minutes in the UK today. By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million.

Why I'm running the Belfast Marathon for Parkinsons

Tuesday 31st Mar
Hi all, I'm Mark and I've always said I wanted to tick this box and complete a Marathon. From u12 I have played Gaelic football and never had the chance. I am now 47 and thought I'd take some time out and get this done. I've been training since January for the event.
I have chosen Parkingsons UK as many of us could unfortunately rely on the charity's support as a patient or family member. I'd like to help this charity continue it's great work. All donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support in advance.
