I am running the Great north Run for my Nana Yvonne
I’m taking on the Great North Run this year to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity very close to my heart.
I’ve chosen this cause because my wonderful Nana lived with Parkinson’s disease. Seeing her go through the challenges it brought has made me determined to do something positive to help others living with it, and to support the vital research that brings us closer to better treatments and, one day, a cure.
Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference to people affected by Parkinson’s and their families. Your support will keep me motivated through the training miles and on race day itself.
Thank you so much for helping me run for a cause that means so much to me and my family. 💙
