Why I am fundraising...

I'm raising money for Parkinson's UK in memory of my Bampi (Dave Murphy) who had Parkinson's Disease, and everyone else affected by the disease.

Parkinson's is a neurological condition that gets worse over time. It doesn't just cause a tremor - it affects movement, sleep, mood, and many other aspects of everyday life. Raising awareness of these symptoms is just as important as raising money, so more people understand what living with Parkinson's really means.

In the UK, around 166,000 people are living with Parkinson's, and someone is diagnosed every 20 minutes.

The money raised will help Parkinson's UK fund research to improve treatments and find a cure. They also provide practical support, information, and services for people living with Parkinson's and their families. This includes things like specialist advice, local support groups, and resources to help people manage day-to-day life.

All donations will help support this work and make a difference to people affected by Parkinson's.
