The Quarter Life Crisis is happening… I’m running the Amsterdam Marathon with my bestie Millie!

2026 is the year I turned 30 and my amazing Dad turns 70. What better way to mark this than by raising awareness, and funds for such a great cause?

In 2011, my Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. It’s cruel and challenging. Despite this, Dad remains one of the most positive, strongest, caring and kindest person I know. He really would do anything for anyone.

I’m so proud of my Dad, and I’m so proud I can do this for him.

Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that affects the brain. There are more than 40 possible symptoms and it affects everyone differently. There is currently no cure and the impact is huge.

That’s why Parkinson’s UK is so important to me. They campaign for better health and care, fund research into new treatments, run life changing support services and ultimately the will find a cure.
