Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
I have watched the impact that this disease has had on my dad over the last few years - and while he is ever the stoic, it’s hard to watch and I’m sure much, much harder to endure.
Please help people like him by sponsoring me whatever you can. All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition.

Saturday 6th Jun While the ultimate goal is the Great North Run, I’m running some 10ks along the way to help keep me motivated during my training.Manchester 10k was the first of those on the 31st May & completed with 9 mins shaved off my first 10k time.
