Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Manchester Marathon 2026 for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
Over the last few years myself and my family members have taken part in a range of challenges to fundraise for Parkinson’s UK. This year I have decided to change direction and try something a bit different in 2026, however having not run since before Covid and tearing my ACL this could be quite a challenge!
Parkinson’s UK is a charity close to my heart with both my uncle and father suffering from the condition.
Although this will be a challenge, running a marathon is nowhere near the struggle that a Parkinson’s sufferer experiences on a daily basis, but by raising money I am hoping to be able to do my bit & support the Parkinson’s community 💙

Why I’m Running
Wednesday 30th Apr Over the last few years myself and my family members have taken part in a range of challenges to fundraise for Parkinson’s UK, we have driven across India twice, driven round Sri Lanka and driven across England all in totally unsuitable and unreliable modes of transport.I have decided to change direction and try something a bit different in 2026, however having not run since before Covid and tearing my ACL this could be quite a challenge!
