I'm fundraising for my beloved Nana
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 8 September 2024 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
I am motivated to run a half marathon for Parkinson's UK as a tribute to my beloved grandad, who battled Parkinson's before his passing. Witnessing not only his resilience, but also the strength of my late grandmother who supported him throughout his deterioration, left an indelible mark on my heart. Running this half marathon not only honours their memory but also supports other's affected by Parkinson's. I'm wanting to raise awareness about the impact of this disease on individuals and their families, as well as contribute to the vital research and resources needed to improve the lives of those living Parkinson's. This run is fueled by the memory of my beloved grandparents, inspiring me to make a positive impact in the fight against Parkinson's and bring hope to those facing similar battles.
