Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
As many of you know, my soulmate, my best friend, and my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2008, just one year before we got married.
At the time, neither of us truly understood what the diagnosis would mean, but we made a promise to live every moment to the fullest — to travel as much as we could and to celebrate life at every opportunity.
It was the best decision we ever made, as the journey grew more challenging with time. Parkinson’s slowly and cruelly stole my husband from me.
He sadly passed away in October 2023 at the age of 65.
Now, more than ever, we need to raise funds to find a cure.
Thank you for your support. x
I'm uniting with thousands of others, all passionate about improving life for people with Parkinson’s.
