Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Edinburgh Marathon
Tuesday 10th FebRunning a marathon has always been a bucket list goal of mine. I’ve always enjoyed pushing myself through sport, and there are few challenges that test both the body and the mind quite like 26.2 miles.
What makes the Edinburgh Marathon especially meaningful is that I get to run it while fundraising for Parkinson’s UK. It’s a fantastic charity that works tirelessly to raise awareness, fund research, and support people living with Parkinson’s. This is a cause that’s very close to home for me, which gives every training session a real sense of purpose.
Any donation, big or small, will make a genuine difference, and it really does mean more than you know. Thank you so much for the support, encouragement, and for helping me get to the start line in one piece.
