In 2027, I'll be taking on the BHF London to Brighton Cycle Ride to raise money for Parkinson's UK, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart.

My aunty lives with Parkinson's, and seeing first-hand the impact this condition has on both her and her family has inspired me to do something that pushes me well outside my comfort zone. I've never fundraised for Parkinson's UK before, and I've certainly never cycled this distance before, so this challenge is a big one in every sense.

There will be early mornings, long training rides, aching legs, and moments where I'll question whether I can make it to the finish line. But whenever those moments come, I'll think about my aunty and the daily challenges faced by people living with Parkinson's. If they can face those challenges with courage and determination, then I can keep pedalling.

I know times are difficult and the cost of living continues to put pressure on everyone. That's why I want to say that every donation, no matter how big or small, will be genuinely appreciated. Your support will not only help me reach my fundraising goal but will also help Parkinson's UK continue their vital work supporting people affected by Parkinson's and funding research into better treatments and, one day, a cure.
