I’m taking part in Run 50/50 to help Parkinson's UK support the Parkinson's community.

There’s no cure for Parkinson’s. Yet.

My Grandad was a hero, he inspired my music career, supported me in everything I did and was an incredible man.

Unfortunately, we lost him to Parkinson's, it is a cruel disease that makes people unrecognisable and I'm so sad there still isn't a cure.

I don't really run- in fact I hate running but every penny counts and I am determined to do this for grandad so no one else has to suffer.

For you Grandad- Roy Dewing- love you always and forever xxxxxxxx

Quite enjoy this little route into Wakefield and back. 3 miles, pretty flat and feel like I could carry on running when I get home. I reckon I could get sub 30 if it wasn't for all the crossings on the main roads that take forever to change 😂😂😂😂

Ran to my smear and back again...get your smear tests done girls. Pretty flat and felt like I could run longer but it was dark and scary ha ha! Almost at half way. Need to rack up the miles these next couple of weeks!

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far. Did my first run this morning, 4.81K (even though it was a 5k park run 🙄) which is 2.98 miles 😁 I was a bit hungover but did it anyway.

There are already 5 miles logged from my Fitbit- I'm not counting these as these are just from my steps, not running and I want to do this properly!
