Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Harry, Simba & I are taking part in Walkies for Parkinson’s to help raise vital funds for specialist care that will reach thousands more people who are living with Parkinson’s. The challenge for us this October is to walk 30 miles (hopefully more) together.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart, as I lost my grandad to Parkinson's in 2020. This October, I walk in his memory honoring the love and support he gave to our family, and the deep affection we shared with him. He was truly the heart of our family, and this journey is a tribute to his strength, warmth, and the legacy he left behind.
By participating in Walkies for Parkinson’s, I’m joining thousands of others in the fight to provide essential care and support to those living with Parkinson’s, as well as their families and caregivers. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that more people get the help they urgently need.
