Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the TCS 2026 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
For those of you that do not know, my Mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2021 and since then our family has learned first-hand just how demanding it can be. Every day is a challenge and there’s no such thing as a simple task anymore but like many others, my Mum is determined not to let it rule her life!
After luckily (and terrifyingly) securing a place in the London Marathon, it felt like the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and essential funds to support research! The team at Parkinson’s UK campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.
