Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
So this is me out of my comfort zone of cycling!
Run 4 Mum
As some of you know my lovely Mum has this rotten disease and it has slowed her down, her passion for outdoors and adventures is still there, she walks daily which helps, but sadly there is no cure but there advancements in medication and research into how sports and being active helps relieve symptons.
So this is me running 10K, asking if possible for your donations, instead of buying me a cuppa when we out donate maybe instead?
I started running well more jogging for my 50th last year and have been taking part in a few local park runs of 5k but this is double the distance and well i'll get there, wont be pretty!
