Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Iā€™m taking part in Walkies for Parkinsonā€™s toĀ fund Parkinson's UK's groundbreaking research into better treatments and a cure.

Thereā€™s no cure for Parkinsonā€™s. Yet.

I'm uniting with thousands of others, all passionate about improving life for people with Parkinsonā€™s.

As a few of you may know, we found out that my grandad was diagnosed with Parkinsonā€™s in 2017 and whilst he is surrounded with love and support, I know it does affect him daily and if we can do even the smallest thing to help him with that, of course we will. My grandad has been a huge part of my life, he is one of the most supportive and kind people I have ever had the pleasure to know, he raised me as one of his own and if I can be half the person he is, I know Iā€™m doing well.Ā

My mum, daughter and I will be completing this with our newest addition- Wilbur. Wilbur came into our family home in July as an 8 week old puppy and he has brought endless joy to the whole family, he is just as excited to join us šŸ¶šŸ¾šŸ¤

Thank you for reading this & for any donations!! Very, very grateful šŸ«¶šŸ»šŸ¤

60 Miles

Wednesday 30th Oct
So today we walked the last one mile of our 60 miles, I realised I have not been fabulous at updating this page daily with the photos however we have loved every second of doing this challenge and we are thrilled to have been able to complete it not just for ourselves, but for the charity of which currently we have raised Ā£225 for. It has been a real privilege to have been able to do this and to have been able to walk the final mile alongside my grandad- the very person we have been doing this for- has been such a blessing. We are always thankful for him and also for the charity who works so hard not only for him but for other people who are in our lives and have also been affected by this disease. šŸ¤
