Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Myself and Grace will be walking 5.4 miles in July (Grace walking and praming) in memory of my amazing Dad who suffered from this debilitating disease and who sadly passed away due to complications of it in December 2024 at the age of 69, 2 days before his 70th Birthday. 

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Walking for Parkinson’s for my Dad

Sunday 31st May
This year Grace and I are walking for Parkinson’s at Hylands House in memory of my lovely Daddy : Grace’s Grandad who suffered with this awful, debilitating disease and sadly passed away at Christmas 2024 from this. We have chosen the longer walking challenge this year of 5.4 miles (Grace in her pram for some of it!) to raise awareness of Parkinson’s and to also maybe help a small amount other people and families who are struggling.
