I’m taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s 100 Mile Challenge to help fund specialist care for people with Parkinson’s.

Friday 8th May
Reached the Isle of May today, via the May Princess boat, booked very well in advance, because PUFFINS!! Trotted around with Paul, and Diana, happily the atrocious weather forecast came to naught, and we admired the birds, chortled at their calls, and chomped down on our picnic food. 

It was going to be only a matter of time before we bumped into John Davidson, muso, birder and photographer, so today was that day. 

All in all, an excellent trip, missing C&N but since they are in Canadia, a big ask.

Let’s twist again, like we did last summer…..

Hoping for another month of decent-ish weather so that I can stride out to raise more money (and re-establish some kind of fitness regime!).  Last year I was joined by chums on several dates, if it suits your own plans to join me then please do contact me and we’ll sort out a plan.  

Otherwise I will be listening to podcasts on my NHS hearing aids, spotting birds, gaping in wonder at the horticultural skills of my neighbours, or acknowledging that the only way to fight this awful, pernicious, deeply distressing thief of a disease is to fund care and research.
