Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 8 September 2024 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

Please help by sponsoring me whatever you can. All the money raised will go to Parkinson’s UK nurses, to provide much-needed advice, support and information for people who are living with the condition.

I am running this year to support my wonderful cousin Justin who suffers with Parkinson's. 🩵🤍

Last long run done, bring on GNR on Sunday 🏃‍♀️🌞🩵🤍💪🏻

12 mile run including parkrun for my last 3 miles

Saturday 17th Aug

Wonderful training run, furthest I've ran in my GNR training. Great with friends to push me on and finishing with the beautiful south shields parkrun

Sunday 21st Jul

Well first time hitting double figures in a very long time. Not the quickest but happy with distance🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Wonderful coastal run with the morning gang, kept it steady and the miles flowed.

4 miles lone wolf in the rain

Tuesday 11th Jun

So, after 6 miles the night before added another 4 and pushed the pace a little. A lovely training run in the rain 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Sunday 9th Jun

Longest training run for a long time. Virtual Blaydon Race with my gals. Felt great pushed the pace a little.
