Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Parkinson’s came into my families life last year when my lovely mum was diagnosed . Through the journey from diagnosis to now , we have all had wonderful support from Parkinson’s UK as well as the incredible support of Parkinson’s Nurses .
So Audrey and I will be walking this October for my wonderful Mum ,
My beautiful friend Jos’ beloved husband Cliff
and my best friends Dad Hugh .
As well as all the others fighting Parkinson’s every day and being impacted by this disease .
Those who know me know I’m more a talker than a walker , but come October that will be changing as Audrey and I hit the streets !
I’m taking part in Walkies for Parkinson's to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to make sure no one faces Parkinson’s alone.
Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.
