Help me reach my goal of £540

For Grandad

On September 13th this year, I will be skydiving 10,000 ft.

The thought of this terrifies me but I am taking on this challenge in memory of my grandad, who passed away last year. My grandad was a huge part of my life, he always inspired me and encouraged me to take on difficult things; whether that be maths as a child or leaving my home town for university. 

While my grandad stayed strong, kind and loving while living with Parkinson's, watching the impact it had on his day to day life highlighted the importance of Parkinson's UK.

My aim to raise £540 could fund a home visit from one of their local advisors, to help a person living with Parkinson's navigate the complex challenges of social care, benefits and employment issues. 

My grandad would have probably laughed at the idea of me jumping out of a plane but I hope that he will be looking down at me on the day proud that I am doing it for a cause that can help so many people.
