Recently, I lost my grandma to Parkinson's disease which slowly took away the loving woman who meant so much to me.
I have decided to do a skydive in April 2025 to raise funds to support Parkinson's research and care in honour of my grandma. There is currently no cure for Parkinson's, but donations can fund the research to one day find one.
My grandma was such a strong and loving presence in my life who always encouraged me to be the best person I could be and I know she would want me to turn this pain into something positive.
I will forever carry her with me and cherish the memories we shared together. She was a vibrant woman with so much love to give and watching her go through this battle while still remaining a strong and positive woman will always inspire me.
