Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page!
I’m running the Hackney Half Marathon in support of Parkinson’s UK, a cause that means a lot to me.
As I prepare to start my Master’s in Speech and Language Therapy, I’ve become increasingly aware of how conditions like Parkinson’s can affect communication, swallowing and everyday life. I’m passionate about supporting people living with these challenges and this felt like a meaningful way to make a difference.
Any donation, big or small, will help fund vital research and provide support for people living with Parkinson’s and their families.
I moved to Hackney last year and as one of my favourite boroughs in London I would love to celebrate it in this way and I hope that my many laps around Victoria Park will come in handy!
