Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support! 

I have 2 uncles with Parkinson’s & will be thinking of them & I know they’ll get me through my first marathon.

Longest run yet

Sunday 22nd Feb
15miles today last 5 supported by Natasha. Slower than I’d like but was hilly and slippy so given the conditions I’m happy. Miles in my legs & time on my feet.

Feb half

Friday 13th Feb
Another half Marathon to start the month. Feb half run to dad. Hillier than I thought it would be. 🏃‍♀️

East Lancs Hospice 10k

Sunday 18th Jan
Not a long run this weekend but supported my friend on her 1st ever 10k run. Still miles in my legs and time on my feet. 🏃‍♀️

Starting the year strong

Sunday 4th Jan
So we’ve reached 2026 …. marathon in May 😱 Starting strong with a Sunday 1/2 marathon. It was a beautiful fresh frosty morning.

Another weekend 10miles

Wednesday 3rd Dec
10miles with Venus 🐾 with a meet up half way to tackle the Coppice hill with Natasha.

10 miles Coldwell loop

Sunday 9th Nov
10miles of hills & countryside. Gaining some power & training in the legs. 🏃‍♀️

37 weeks to go until my 1st Marathon. Today was 10miles chatty joggle with a friend 🥰

Lytham Windmill Half Marathon

Monday 11th Aug
And we’re off first of many longer runs in preparation for the Marathon in May. Lytham Half Marathon completed with a PB
