Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.

For over 20 years my dear Mum lived with Parkinsons Disease, and I saw how this awful disease changed her life. Her resilience and determination remain an inspiration to me, so with her in my thoughts, I will be running this half marathon to raise funds for Parkinsons UK.

Felixstowe Coastal 10

Sunday 20th Sep
Today we completed the Coastal 10 mile race in Felixstowe. This was our last long run before the big day. There's only 3 weeks to go now until the big day! 😬

2 rivers run

Friday 14th Aug
When I signed up for my first half marathon, I didn't realise that my training would be through the hottest summer on record! It has been tough and I haven't done the longer runs that I'd have liked to yet. But on Wednesday evening along with my FRR colleagues I run the '2 rivers run' from the river Orwell to the river Deben. A distance of 5 miles along the coast. I now just need to find another 8 miles from somewhere!
