Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Straight up, for my Dad. My Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's over 20 years ago, just after getting an Ulcerative Colitis diagnosis too. Recently he's also had bowel cancer surgery and chemo which hit his Parkinson's hard, and a second bladder cancer diagnosis.

However much is thrown at this man, this hero of mine, he keeps smiling, keeps being cheeky and gets going, defying his medical experts along the way.

Doing the London Marathon is big, it's hard, the training with be tough, there will be tears and pain and a lot of swear words...but that's my choice. You don't choose to have Parkinson's.

I'm running and raising money for my Dad to help research and support for a cruel disease that can't be cured, but can be eased. Please support for the best man I know, my Dad, Geoff.

Thank you to my sponsors
