Why I'm fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s 100 Mile Challenge to help fund specialist care for people with Parkinson’s.
I'm uniting with thousands of others, all passionate about improving life for people with Parkinson’s.
Last year I did many of my walks with Dad, sadly this year I’ll be doing them without him, although I’m sure he’ll be with me in spirit, admiring the flowers and spotting aeroplanes as we did last year. Parkinson’s is a cruel and relentless disease, gradually robbing people of their ability to do the things they love. It would be so wonderful if a breakthrough meant that nobody else had to suffer like my lovely dad.

Building Up the Steps!
Monday 27th Apr Last few days have meant a lot of walking, trying to gradually build up to 4 ml per day. I’ll need to walk 4 mls a day for 6 days of the week over the month of May. I’ve given myself Fridays off as that a busy day for me, and I won’t have enough free time to walk for an hour.Thank you to my sponsors
