Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Parkinson’s is a complex brain condition that has no cure and gets worse over time. It has more than 40 symptoms, from tremor and pain to anxiety. And Parkinson's is on the rise. Someone is diagnosed every 20 minutes in the UK today. By 2050, the number of people with Parkinson’s worldwide will double to 25 million.
Parkinson’s UK is the charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need.
From searching for a cure and campaigning for better health and care, to funding research into groundbreaking new treatments and running life-changing support services. It’s all driven by one mission: improving life with Parkinson’s.

31.07 miles
Friday 8th May I ran 31.07 miles (50k) so far. It was difficult I have to admit but it just reminds me how important this is to me! I’m so grateful to have someone as amazing as my dad beside me through it all and I’m excited (and nervous) for this adventure ahead of us Share
Marathon
Monday 20th Apr I did my first marathon a few weeks ago. 26.4 miles completed. It was hard. It was a struggle. But I am so proud of myself. Never ever would I have thought I could achieve something like this. Yet. I have. I was a non runner 7 months ago and now I have completed a marathon. Share
How is training going ?
Wednesday 14th Jan Training is difficult but worth it ! I have completed half a marathon already and am ready for the next step Share
