Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m taking part in the TCS 2025 London Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support!
I was lucky enough to get a ballot place in the London Marathon 2025, which means I do not need to raise money for charity to take part. However, as many of my friends and family know my wonderful dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s several years ago. As a small way of helping, I’ve decided to raise money for the charity that are trying to find a cure. My dad and I used to run together a lot (if you're wondering he was always much quicker than me!)
Every step of the marathon will be dedicated not only to my dad, but to everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
Please help by sponsoring me with whatever you can. The money raised will help fund groundbreaking research and change the lives of the Parkinson's community.
My updates
6 weeks into training
Wednesday 12th Feb I'm now 6 weeks into my 16-week training plan, and the mileage is increasing. I'm constantly hungry, and tired, but really enjoying the challenge. So far I've run 88 miles out of 367. By the end of this week I will have reached the 100 mile mark. ShareThank you to my sponsors
