🏃‍♂️ Me. 13.1 Miles. A Questionable Life Choice - All for Parkinson’s UK! 💙

In September 2026, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run - 13.1 miles of sweat, snacks and probably blood in honour of my incredible auntie, who is living with Parkinson’s.

I’m not exactly built for long distance running (unless there’s cake at the finish line, and there better be!), but I’m doing this to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity doing genuinely amazing work.

Not only are they funding cutting edge research and pushing for a cure, they also help provide Parkinson’s nurses, who support people and families living with the condition every single day. These nurses make a massive difference, offering expert care, advice, and comfort when it’s needed most.

So while I’ll be out there pounding the pavements (and probably questioning my life choices by mile 5), I’ll be doing it for something far bigger than just a medal; I’ll be running for my auntie, and for the thousands of others facing Parkinson’s with courage, humour, and strength.
