4 WEEKS OUT
Wednesday 18th Mar 4 Weeks out until race day and I can’t wait to get out there and raise some money and awareness for this great cause. The sub 2 hr target is looking shaky with injuries in recent months, but more importantly is the money being raised to help fight Parkinson’s. Any donations are hugely appreciated be me and anyone who has a connection.
Why I’m running for Parkinson’s
Saturday 21st Jun Parkinson’s is a charity I’ve supported many times in the past and is close to me for personal reasons, and next year im supporting them again and running the LLHM for Parkinson’s in honor of my grandad, who bravely battled this relentless disease until we lost him in 2020. Watching someone I love slowly lose parts of themselves to Parkinson’s was heartbreaking and deeply personal to me, as my despite the challenges he faced, he never gave up, and still managed to support me in everything I did. This run is my way of keeping his fighting spirit alive while raising awareness and support for those still fighting.Thank you to my sponsors
