Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m walking on Saturday 4th July 2026 at Blaise Estate, Bristol, to help fund The Nuse Appeal. The Nurse Appeal aims to raise £9 million over three years to increase the number of Parkinson’s specialists, giving thousands of people with the condition access to the expert care they need. There is a shortage of specialist Parkinsons Nurses in the UK and in my specific area the wonderful Nurse I used to see moved on last year and the vacancy has yet to be filled so I am without that crucial support, advice and guidance on which I relied.
