Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Your mum, son or friend. Anyone can get Parkinson’s, young or old. Every hour, two more people are diagnosed.
There are over 40 symptoms. Tremor. Pain. Anxiety. Everyone’s experience is different. And there’s no cure. Yet.
That’s why I’m taking part in the London to Brighton cycle for Parkinson’s UK. With your help we can fund better care, drive research breakthroughs and one day find a cure.
We are the Parkinson’s community. We can shape Parkinson’s research. We can transform lives. Together we can find a cure.

The plan.....
Thursday 17th Jul My first thoughts when I looked at doing L2B - 55 miles, that's not too bad? I am beginning to realise that was an optimistic thought! So why do it? In the UK someone is diagnosed with Parkinsons every 20 minutes and most people know someone impacted by the disease. For our family it's my Mum, who was diagnosed in her late 40s, a reminder that a diagnosis can come at any age. Its an illness that effects every part of daily life, but luckily Parkinsons UK are a vital support those with a diagnosis, providing direct support as well as research into new treatments and, maybe one day, a cure. That's why I am cycling to raise money for Parkinsons UK and I am very grateful for to everyone who is able to sponsor me 😀 ShareThank you to my sponsors
