In my younger day I was often running half marathons, and even a couple of marathons, not appreciating the privilege it was to be able to do it so easily. But the health challenges of the last few years make this the event I really have to work for. Your support is hugely appreciated.

Finished, but feel I've only just started
Monday 8th Sep So the event is over and I managed to finish. Yet training for it has been a huge factor in my wellbeing since receiving my Parkinson's diagnosis. The medication is also part of the picture, and I was tempted to say that the exercise has all but "fixed" me, but things don't go so well if I forget to take my regular medication. So your sponsorship is really valuable in enabling further research into Parkinson's treatments. Thank you. Share
