Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
We’re doing this for our Dad, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s three years ago. At the time, I didn’t really understand what that would mean. I had no idea about the physical and mental limitations it would bring, or that it’s something that can’t be cured.
Parkinson’s is a cruel illness and watching Dad, and so many others live with it every day is incredibly hard. However, Dad’s determination inspires us. Despite the limitations it brings, he still takes on the disease head-on and will never miss a game of padel on a Sunday!
We wanted to do something that could help. By supporting us, you’ll be helping to fund vital research and support people living with Parkinson’s. Every donation makes a huge difference in bringing hope for better treatments and one day, a cure.
