Walk for Parkinson's: Bristol 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Parkinson's Crew 2026

Tuesday 26th May

My family and I are taking part in the Bristol Parkinson's walk this July to support my mum (who was diagnosed 8 years ago) and those close to her who also have Parkinson's. The team are a mixture of Parkinson's patients, family and loved ones, who have met through PD/Neuro Warrior excercise classes here in Bristol.

Mum and Dad take part in weekly classes, meet ups and socials (including organising Christmas shin digs and lunch dates) and have gained lifelong friends as a result.

The amount of people being diagnosed is increasing every year. The NHS is struggling to cope under the strain.

All money raised on this walk is earmarked for the training of specialist Nurses and Doctors which will benefit my mum, other people affected by Parkinson's and any future families affected by this condition too.

Please give as little or as much as you can - even just for the joy of my kids taking part and/ or D making Andy carry her on his shoulders no doubt!

Thanks for the support people 🙌

Thank you to my sponsors
