I am running my first ever marathon!
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I have never run a marathon before, it’s a huge bucket list dream of mine. I’m so excited to be running the 2026 London Marathon, in support of a cause very close to my heart!
My auntie Janice has been living with Parkinson’s for over 10 years, having been diagnosed in her 40s. She never complains, but her condition and the side effects of her medication visibly impact her every day.
In 2020, my best friend Ellie also found out that her father Steve has Parkinson’s. It has been upsetting to see this disease impact yet another family, and I have felt compelled to do more to support the work of Parkinson’s UK.
On April 26th 2026, I will be running 26.2 miles for my auntie Janice, for Ellie’s dad Steve, for both of our families, and the families of everyone impacted by this incurable disease.
All donations, not matter how small, are so gratefully received. The money raised will help fund ground-breaking research and change the lives of the Parkinson's community. Thank you so much - Jessica x
