Cape Town Marathon 2026 & Race to the Stones 100km
As many of you know, someone very close to me was diagnosed with Parkinson’s a few years ago. For those of you who don’t, my girlfriend Katherine and her family received the news that her Mum, Sharon, had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
As a family, we’ve raised over £30,000 to support Sharon and Parkinson’s UK over the past few years - with Katherine and I completing the National Three Peaks Challenge, and Michael and his mates cycling from Houghton to Paris!
This year, I’m running the Cape Town Marathon in May followed by the Race to the Stones 100km in July.
Sharon is such an inspiration, fighting her battle every day with a smile on her face and always putting others first. The determination she has displayed deserves recognition, and any donations to show this would be hugely appreciate.
I’ve set a punchy target of £5,000, so let’s try and get as close as possible!
Thank you,
Jayk x
