I'm running the Great North Run 2024 for Parkinson's UK!

Eighteen months ago, my incredible mum, Beverley, received the challenging diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. Throughout this journey, she has remained her usual positive self, staying strong and powering through. Inspired by her, I have decided to take on my own personal challenge: participating in the Great North Run this September 8, 2024, to raise crucial funds for Parkinson's UK.


I kindly ask for your support in sponsoring me by contributing whatever amount you can. All the money raised will go directly to Parkinson’s UK nurses, ensuring they can offer essential advice, support, and information to those living with this condition.

I did it!

Tuesday 10th Sep
I completed the Great North Run in 2:15:28, so incredibly proud of myself after 8 months of training and fundraising. Thanks so much to everyone who donated, together we raised a total of £1,441.25 including Gift Aid and donation matching from my employer Accenture. Finishing the Great North Run and raising money for Parkinson's UK has been on of the biggest accomplishments of my life so far and a special memory I'll treasure forever. I'm already thinking about signing up for next year!

Today I completed Couch to 5K!
