Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Great North Run on 13 September 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
My Dad had Parkinsons with Lewy Body Dementia which bought increasingly complex care needs as the illness progressed. The physical, emotional and practical demands placed a huge burden on family and friends. Sadly my Dad lost his fight with the disease last year. I am going to run the race in memory of my Dad.
