Fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Taking on a marathon has always felt like something beyond my limits but that’s exactly why I’m doing it.
I’m running to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that means a lot to me and my family.
My dad has been living with Parkinson’s for the past six years and before him, both of my grandma’s were also affected by this disease. Watching the people I love face the physical and mental challenges that Parkinson’s brings has shown me just how much strength, resilience and determination they have every single day.
This marathon is my way of honouring them. Every mile I run is dedicated to my dad, my grandma’s and everyone else living with Parkinson’s. I want to prove that no matter what obstacles life puts in front of us, we are capable of achieving things we never thought possible.
Parkinson’s affects millions of people and their families. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps fund vital research, support services and hope for a better future.
