Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I will be raising money in loving memory of Geoff Payne, who tragically passed away in 2022. Geoff’s family have set up the Geoff Payne Charitable Trust, the intention of the trust is to work closely with Parkinson’s UK, whereby Parkinson’s UK ring fence money to put towards certain projects. Many of these projects are aimed at trying to find a cure for Parkinson’s.
Although Parkinson’s UK will be a focal point of the Charitable Trust, money will also be distributed to other charities that are close to the friends and family of Geoff’s loved ones.
In April this year, I will be running the London Landmark Half Marathon to raise money for such an incredible cause and one close to my heart. Any and all donations are massively appreciated.
